GRANITEVILLE, S.C. - Complete life's journey and answered God's call on Friday, January 11, 2008, Mrs. Helen Roberts Sanders, 79, of Graniteville, beloved wife of James Sanders and daughter of the late Johnnie Edith Rabon Roberts. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Debbie Hayes and her husband, Jeff of Graniteville, S.C.; four sons, Davis Yopp and his wife, Chris of Chiefland, Fla., Eddie Sanders and his wife, Theresa of Phoenix, Ariz., Billy Sanders of Graniteville and Bobby Sanders and his wife, Angie, also of Graniteville. She was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Blondine Vann. She was born in Manchester, Ga., but has been a resident of Aiken County, S.C. for the past 40 years. She was a very dedicated member of Breezy Hill Baptist Church in Graniteville, where she taught the fifth grade girls Sunday school class. She was also a teacher of the Awana Sparks and a choir member. She was an Avon representative for over 30 years and was a member of the Avon President's Club and Honor Society. She represented the Avon Company well, and with her pleasant smile and winning personality, she could always make you want to purchase her Avon products, upon every visit, even if you didn't need anything. She will truly be missed for the many delicious "Friendship Cakes" that she baked and gave away to her many friends and loved ones. Earth's loss is truly Heaven's gain. The funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 14, 2008 at 2 p.m. at Breezy Hill Baptist Church in Graniteville with Rev. Robert Riley officiating. The interment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens in Langley, S.C. The family will receive friends this evening, Sunday, January 13th form 4 to 6 p.m. at Napier Funeral Home.
