AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest January 9, 2008 at Trinity Hospital, Mr. Banny Brant Cochran, 66, husband of Mrs. Ingrid Winter Cochran. Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Westover Memorial Park with a military chaplain officiating. Full military honors will be accorded at the service. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery. Mr. Cochran was born in Knox City, Texas. He served with honor in the U.S. Marine Corps and the U.S. Army with more than 20 years of service and one tour in Vietnam. He also worked and retired from the P Q Corporation. Mr. Cochran was a member of the Retired Military Golf Association and Point South Golf Club. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Kanova Lee Loper Cochran and a brother, Stan Carl Cochran. Survivors include: wife, Mrs. Ingrid Winter Cochran, Augusta; three daughters, Stefanie (Bobby) Batten, San Antonio, Texas, Shiela (Mike) Ryan, Columbia, S.C. and Julie (Brad) Cheek, Evans; father, Carl Thomas Cochran, Texas; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
