CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Ms. Young, age 44, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at Carolinas Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends. Born January 21, 1963 in Augusta, GA, she was the daughter of Simon Estroff and the late Nadine F. Estroff. Ms. Young was a graduate of Peachtree High School of Atlanta and attended the University of Alabama. She was employed by Amerisouth Mortgage Company for the past eleven years. The Service to Celebrate the Life of Jill Estroff Young will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, January 13, 2008 at McEwen Funeral Service - Sharon Memorial Park. Interment will be in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service and immediately following the interment. Survivors include her father and step-mother, Simon and Susan Estroff of Fort Mill, SC; daughter, Hannah Young; son, Chase Young; soul mate, Patrick Gleason; brother, Jeff Estroff and his wife, Sonia, of Cary, NC; sister, Shayna Peiken and her husband, Andrew, of Marietta, GA; maternal grandmother, Sara Fagan of Atlanta, GA; and five nieces and nephews.
