GRANITEVILLE, S.C. - Mr. Allen Carter, Jr., 60, of Rainbow Falls Road, entered into rest January 9, 2008. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, January 12, 2008 at Mims Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Limuer Myers officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Carter was a 1966 graduate of W.E. Parker High School. He was an avid fisherman and a mechanic. He was a member of Mims Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mary L. Tucker Carter; two sons, Zeran Carter and Stacey (Zakiya) Carter; his mother, Rose L. Broadwater Ashley; two sisters, Alice Carter and Grace Carter Fielding; one brother, Aaron (Delfuni) Glover; four aunts, Addie Rome, Charlotte Garrett, Dorothy (Johnny) Garrett, Lillie Mae Johnson; one uncle, Stewart (Rose) Carter; mother-in-law, Bessie Tucker; a niece, Shakeyki Glover; a nephew, Tornelius Glover; a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
