GUYTON, Ga. - Robbie Newton Sego, 84, died January 9, 2008 at Effingham Extended Care Facility. The Burke County native had lived in Savannah for most of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin L. Sego, Jr.; parents, Russell and Georgia Newton; sisters, Dicy N. Gaither and Bessie N. Rocker; and brothers, Adrain, John, Russell, and Tommy Newton. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Diana Sego and Charles R. Brown, Sr. of Guyton; two grandchildren, Charles R. Brown, Jr. of Guyton and Lee Lane Brown of Guyton; two sisters-in-law, Betty S. Tant and Mamie S. Kitchens, both of Augusta; and several nieces and nephews.
