Relay kickoff

The American Cancer Society will hold a relay kickoff at 6 p.m., today in Simmons Hall at Warren Baptist Church, 3203 Washington Road. Art for toddlers

The Morris Museum of Art will hold its Toddler Thursday: What is Sculpture? program at 10 a.m. today at the museum, 1 10th St. Children can learn about the difference between two-dimensional and three-dimensional objects and create a colorful abstract sculpture. The faculty recital Spirituals: Black and White will take place at 8 p.m. Monday at Grover C. Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre at Augusta State University, 2500 Walton Way. The recital will feature mezzo-soprano Linda Banister and pianist Rosalyn Floyd. Admission is $5 for the general public and free for Augusta State students, faculty and staff with a JagCard. King observance

Lunch and music

American coloratura soprano Diane Penning and pianist Paul Bisaccia will perform at noon Tuesday, Jan. 22, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Sixth and Reynolds streets, as part of the Tuesday's Music Live series.
