NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. William L. Felty, 70, husband of Betty Felty, of Oriole Ave., entered into rest Sunday, January 6, 2008 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at First Baptist Church of North Augusta with Dr. Gary C. Redding and Rev. Jerry T. Matthews officiating. Interment will be at Pineview Memorial Park. A resident of North Augusta for fifty years, Mr. Felty was a member of First Baptist Church of North Augusta and a member of the church's Sheffield Club. Additional survivors include a son, Ronny Felty (Angela) of Trenton; two daughters, Susan Clabey (Gary) of Hilton Head and Leigh Anne Ogden (David) of Martinez; two sisters, Betty Tibbs of North Augusta and Frances Smith of Bluefield, W.Va.; four grandchildren, Andrea Baxley (Chris), Chad Felty (Nicole), Tyler Clabey, and Laura Ogden; three great-grandchildren, Matthew Baxley, Andrew Baxley and Gage Felty. Pallbearers will be Ron Wheeler, Dwight Smith, Tony Carr, Jr., Ricky Fuller, Bill Bearden and Don Freeland. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rowland Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church Children's Learning Center, 625 Georgia Ave., North Augusta, S.C. 29841 or The National Kidney Foundation, 500 Taylor St. Ste. 101, Columbia, S.C. 29201-3000.
