AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Stephania Dawn Szocinski, daughter of Casey and Cleavie Szocinski, of North Augusta, entered into rest January 7, 2008. Funeral services will be held at Rowland Funeral Home Chapel Thursday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Jerry T. Matthews and Rev. Steve Davis officiating. Interment will be at Pineview Memorial Park. Stephania worked in food service at country clubs. Her loving and vivacious spirit made a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was an extraordinary cook and dreamed of becoming a culinary chef. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of North Augusta having been very active in handbells, choir and the music ministry. First Baptist Church was instrumental in her spiritual growth. She presently attended True North Church continuing her spiritual growth. She enjoyed traveling and had been on several foreign mission trips with the church. She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Joyce Szocinski. Pallbearers will be Robert Szocinski, Ronnie Allen, Rhett Mills, Erin Rutenberg, Dr. Alan Owings and Sara Scott. The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rowland Funeral Home.
