AIKEN, S.C. - Mrs. Elizabeth "Lib" Parker Ergle, 67, beloved wife of 45 years to Mr. Leonel "Sam" Ergle, Jr., entered into rest on her birthday, January 7, 2008 at Pepper Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth "Beth" E. Andrews (Calvin "Cal", Jr.), Lavonia, Ga. and Cullum E. Lepard (B. Lamar, Jr.), Knoxville, Tenn.; two sisters, Mary P. King (Kenneth A.) and Harriette P. Moultrie (James T.), all of Lexington, S.C.; and four grandchildren, Robbie, Ashley, and Michael Lepard and Will Andrews. Mrs. Ergle is the daughter of the late Harry A. "Hap" and Martha Davenport Parker. She was a member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Aiken, S.C. and the Methodist Women. Mrs. Ergle was a Graduate of the University of S.C. with a degree in Elementary Education. Funeral services will be on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at St. John's United Methodist Church, Aiken, S.C., with Rev. Dr. George K. Howle officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Graniteville, S.C. Pallbearers will be Jack Taylor, Dr. Gaines Entrekin, Jim Gerrick, Hans Hagmann, and Felder Sanders. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Pepper Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church, 104 Newberry Street NW, Aiken, S.C. 29801. Friends may call on Wednesday from 1 until 2:30 p.m. at the church.
