Rosa L. Chandler (JOHNSTON, S.C.)

JOHNSTON, S.C. - Mrs. Rosa L. Chandler, 89, of Old Chapel Ferry Road, entered into rest January 5, 2008 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 9, 2008 at Jeter Baptist Church with the Rev. James Thomas officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Chandler, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Jeter Baptist Church, where she served as mother of the church. Survivors include her husband, Willie J. Chandler of the home; a daughter, Louise Henderson; a sister, Alma Chandler; and a brother, Earnest Adams; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
