Falcon Ulyesse Davis: Youth pastor has been working at Bible Way Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ Apostolic.

Falcon Ulyesse Davis, 36, of North Augusta, was charged with three counts of child molestation. Police say he admitted to having sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl.

Mr. Davis has been employed as a youth pastor for about three years at Bible Way Church of Our Lord Jesus Christ Apostolic, 2029 Grand Blvd., Richmond County sheriff's Investigator Earnest Furgeison said.

Mr. Davis was arrested Saturday night at his North Augusta residence, police said.

The victim is a church member and part of a youth group of 30 to 40 people between ages 5 and 21, Investigator Furgeison said.

A man who answered the phone at Bible Way Church late Wednesday said the church's bishop, Sylvester Norwood, could not be reached for comment but would be available to talk about the incident today.

Police said the victim's stepmother said she noticed "instant" Yahoo messages between Mr. Davis and the girl on her computer and described the dialogue as "sexual in nature." The stepmother informed the girl's biological mother and father about the incident, police said.

The girl's father called authorities, Investigator Furgeison said. Police say incidents occurred at least three times at the girl's residence, most recently on Dec. 12.

"They've been alone together several times," Investigator Furgeison said.

A police report stated the girl admitted to her stepmother that Mr. Davis "kissed her on the lips." Investigator Furgeison refused to provide other details, but added that "there was physical contact."

The girl told police she was unaware of any other victims, Investigator Furgeison said.

These monsters should have a neon sign plastered on them. Just proves what the Bible states concerning demons in sheeps clothing. What better cover for a molester than a church leader but the terror of that statement is that it happens more often than not. Take them all and put them where the sun doesn't shine forever.

Ole School

watch what we say, we do not want to infringe on the " MOLESTERS" rights.....yeah I am sure someone will get on here and take the side of the molester..... they always do....... myself ? well I feel Clint Eastwood said it best in one of his old dirty Harry movies.I believe it went something like this...(police commissioner )Harry i do not want another incident like what happened last year in the Phil more District.. that`s not our policy here" and then Harry said" yeah well when i see a man chasing a woman with a Knife and a *&*^% I shot the ba$%#@% ... that`s my Policy ! "

hisfaith2003

Thats why parents we need to talk to there childern about these devils in sheeps clothing, because if we don't tell them about the sick freaks out their. These freaks will mess up these childern lives. watch your kids parents! watch your kids......

wootchieone

Pedophiles go where children are. Children are found in churches too. Do not let your child be alone with any adult, be it teracher, minister, doctor, whatever.

pablanco

Sad for everybody....

patriciathomas

I predict leniency for the molester. Our courts don't seem to feel this is a serious crime.

funksgirl3

Not all minsters are that way. Children need to learn from their parents how to watch for things. There is a good video put out by National Alert Registry that every parent should watch and then all the children should watch it. Go to their website people! I went to their website and they give the DVDs out for free and they will ship them to you. They are very helpful in showing children what they should know. Now a days, you can't be too careful.

getalife

I agree with pt, we need tougher laws concerning sexual criminals and longer prison sentences!!

pablanco

funks that's all good and well but the girl was yahooing with the minister and stuff. It seems like she needed more than watching for things. This minister was a sleezeball.

pofwe

Hmmm ... youth pastor ...eh? YOUTH PASTOR!

SunDown

getalife is right on the money. What is needed is longer prison sentences. Stop goofing around with all these idiotic sex offender laws (they can live here, they can't live there, 1000 feet from a bus stop etc). Instead, keep them in prison.

This is a shame and a disgrace. These jack leg pastors and child molesters should all be thrown under the jail. Also, if parents would take the time to have family discussions with their children about everything maybe this could have been avoided. Keep a close monitor of what your child is doing on the internet (computer). Some of these young girls have bodies like an adult - that's why parents need to be more aware of what's going on at church, school and etc.

The A Train

Damnation. That is what he will have!!!

jack

Unfortunately, our courts are far too lenient with child molesters though they steal the molested child's life as a child that never goes away. I say make it a capital crime and I will be glad to insert and activate the needle.

funksgirl3--I checked the National Alert Registry on the website and for a monthly fee, you can get the same information that is free through the county and state websites. I didn't see a video either. Most sex offenders are not listed on a website anyway. Was this pastor on one before he molested the girl?

debbiedoright

Instead of wasting time figuring where thay can and cannot live, just put them all together and shot them, That is what they deserve.

patriciathomas

Molesters, properly fed and exercised, would make excellent organ donors. They could be kept on a farm until a part was needed. When a vital part is needed, the whole body can be harvested. There's always a market for used parts. If properly managed, this type of prison could turn a tidy profit.

SunDown

PT... at first glance your solution seems an attractive one but you may have miscalculated. I, for one, would not want an organ from one these creatures. I would rather do without.

rufus

Justice will be served when he donates the organ that got him in trouble

DeborahElliott2

Yeah, the molester was totally wrong, but what about the stepmom?? What was she thinking leaving her child ALONE with a full grown MAN in her own HOUSE???

jus readin

I agree with DeborahElliott2. I have a young daughter and son and I would never leave/allow my daughter or son to be alone with a man. These child molesters are sick. I see one every Sunday at church holding the offering tray and claiming to be a prayer warrior. The pastor and others in the church should be ashame for allowing this person to do such a thing. Pray with your own child and teach them how to pray - you don't need some jack leg preacher meeting with them at home to pray. Parents wake up!!!!!! Only if I had the power of GOD!!!!!!

truthbeliever

These are evil times. It's awful that someone entrusted with the care of God's little ones would commit such acts. However, it is so commonplace and so predicted in the scriptures. I warn even my 22 year-old to be aware of the people he's around because there have been instances where grown men drugged and bound other grown men and inflicted horrible sex acts and torture of these totally unsuspecting people. Women and children are much more vulnerable- not because women are "the weaker seex", but because a dinner date with a glass or two of wine leaves them handicapped. It cannot be stressed how important it is to be sober, be vigilant. parents, I know can't watch our children while they are in school, but what is this thing where young kids are left unattended? With so much tragedy in the news (even locally), why is it people haven't learned to protect the little ones God entrusted to our care? Please see the handwriting on the wall.

DoubleD

Remember, we can't judge the molesters. We should set them all free then let God judge them.

hidingoutagain

Double, I certainly hope you posted your comment simply to get a reaction...

DoubleD

Yep, because every time someone commits a crime in Augusta many people keep chiming in to say, "We can't judge them, and who are we to pass judgment?" Remember, we don't know what this man was going through at the time he did this! Me personally as DoubleD, I say string him up by his toenails.

butterbrown

Dont' forget about the priest.

hidingoutagain

It may not be our place as individuals to judge, but we have elected officials who are to place the consequences/punishments on them for thier actions. We can comply to those who say to not judge, but we will hold those accountable for what they do to the young people of today. WE MUST PROTECT THE CHILDREN!!!

lorrainehsmith

jus readin, who are you to JUDGE anyone? You are the one who should be ashame!!! May GOD have mercy on your soul.

ryarka

Let's not jump to conclusions. We don't know the whole story. And for a fact, some 14 year old girls do not look like they are 14.Some young ladies are pretty fast for their age and come on to the guys.
