AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Martha Harden Horne, 57, beloved wife of Tony Horne, entered into rest on Monday, December 31, 2007 at Trinity Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Christ Baptist Church, where Mrs. Horne was a member, with the Rev. Dr. Eddie West officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Horne is survived by her mother, Betty Harden, her son and daughter in law, Tony "Scoot" and Michelle Horne, a daughter and son in law, Beth and Roger Martin, two grandchildren, Jake Martin and Amber Martin, and three sisters, Joan Harden, Vickie Amerson and husband, George, and Barbara Brock. Pallbearers will be David Dowd, Matt Cason, Tony Costello, Pat Hickson, James Richardson, and Buddy Jackson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday afternoon, January 1, 2008 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM.
