AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Willie Mae Howard, of Luckey Street, entered into rest Sunday, December 23, 2007 at the University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 31, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Sam Davis officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. Mrs. Howard, a native of Sarasota, Fla.; was a member of the Beulah Grove Baptist Church where she was a member of the choir, member of the Business and Professional Women's Mission, Chairperson of the Golden Age Ministry, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School Teacher, Past Director of Bible School. Mrs. Howard received at Bachelor's degree in Education from Paine College and was a retired school teacher for Richmond County with 30 years of service. Survivors are her husband, William Howard; daughters, JoAnn (Dieler) Mueller, Germany, Dr. Eve (Lucius) Allen, Los Angeles, Calif., Beryl (Richard) Mohni, Port Huron, Mich.; two brothers, Earl (Retha) Wilcox, John Wilcox, Sarasota, Fla.; three sisters, Eva Wilcox, Cynthia Wilcox, and Alma Johnson, Sarasota, Fla.; two grandchildren, Geoffrey Allen and Jared Allen; a host of other relatives and friends.
