AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Michael Cleveland Bentley, 56, entered into rest on Saturday, December 22, 2007 at MCG. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 27, 2007 at 7:30 p.m. at Southside Baptist Church with Reverend Greg Bentley officiating. Interment will be private and at a later date. Survivors include his daughters, Tobie Gibson and husband Jay of Augusta and Christy Dye and her husband Stephen of Covington; stepson, Todd Marsh of Atlanta; parents, JC and Ann Utley Bentley of Augusta; brothers, Greg Bentley and his wife Mickey of Augusta and Ricky Bentley and his wife Stacey of Hephzibah; sister, Gail Corley and her husband Tommy of Augusta; grandchildren, Gregory Bentley, Michelle Gibson, Corey Gibson, and Tripp Dye. Mr. Bentley was born in Aiken, S.C. He was a self-employed Masonry Contractor and a Georgia Bulldog Fan. He was of the Baptist faith. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Southside Baptist Church, 3612 Mike Padgett Hwy., Augusta, Ga. 30906.
