NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Mr. Willie Mack Cobb, 82, of E. Buena Vista Avenue, entered into rest December 6, 2007 at the VA Medical Center. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mr. Cobb, a native of Aiken County, was a member and deacon of Carpentersville Baptist Church. He was also a Veteran of the United States Navy. Survivors include a daughter, Kathy L. Evans, North Augusta; three sons, Gregory (Greta) Cobb, North Augusta, Mack Kelvin Cobb, Alabaster, Ala., and Tony A. (Evelyn) Evans, North Augusta; two sisters, Dorothy Davis, Augusta and Mary Alice Gibson, Chicago, Ill.; six grandchildren, two great- grandchildren; aunt, Ruby Bennett, Augusta; devoted nephew, Henry (Norma) Davis, Augusta; a loving goddaughter, Rosalyn B. Sapp, Augusta; four sisters-in-law, Helen (Leroy) Stokes, Elizabeth Burton, Augusta, Shirley (Henry) Jones, North Augusta, and Dorothy (Chris) Thomas, Passaic, N.J.; two brothers-in-law, Willie (Dorothy) Cofer, Augusta and Jimmy (Janet) Cofer, North Augusta; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
