The golf and utility vehicle manufacturer said Phil Tralies, who has served as president and CEO for the past six years, has been named chairman and CEO.
Gary Michel, a longtime executive within Club Car's parent company, Ingersoll Rand, will assume the new position of president and chief operating officer.
The changes position Mr. Tralies to focus on emerging domestic and international markets and strengthening the company's customer and industry relationships, Jim Bolch, the president of Ingersoll Rand's Industrial Technologies sector, said in a statement issued Wednesday.
Mr. Michel will be responsible for overseeing Club Car's daily operations and working with Mr. Tralies to develop long-term strategies.
Mr. Michel was previously president of Ingersoll-Rand's Road Development and Utility Equipment businesses. He was also vice president and general manager of the company's Portable Power business.
"Gary has a proven track record leading businesses and people," Mr. Tralies said in a statement. "His experience is a great fit for Club Car and helps ensure ongoing growth and success."
