AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Hazel Crumpler Langston, 92, entered into rest on Friday, November 30, 2007 at Kentwood Nursing Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2007 in Westover Memorial Park with Dr. Greg DeLoach officiating. Survivors include her three sons, C. Norman Langston, wife Mary Ann of Matthews, N.C., Richard L. Langston, wife Shirley of Arab, Ala., E. Vann Langston of Augusta, Ga.; her sister, Ruby Crumpler McSwain of Sanford, N.C.; four grandchildren, R. Carl Langston, Jr. of Irwinton, Ga., Amelia Nan Langston, husband Michael Foat of Portland, Ore., Matthew D. Langston, wife Kelly of Charlotte, N.C., Margaret L. Saltrick, husband Daniel of Charlotte, N.C.; six great-grandchildren; a daughter-in- law, Judith Phillips Langston of Fairmont, Ga. She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, the late Mr. Charles Langston and her oldest son, the late Mr. Robert Carl Langston, Sr. Mrs. Langston was born on January 9, 1915 in Sampson County, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Robert Matthew Crumpler and the late Mrs. Annie Parker Crumpler. She has lived in Augusta since 1947. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Augusta.
