AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Jimmie Warwick Hauschild, 88, formerly of Athens, Ga., died at Trinity Hospice in Augusta on Sunday, December 2, 2007. Before moving to Augusta in 1998 to be near her family, Mrs. Hauschild had been a lifelong resident of Athens, where she was involved in the community and was an active member of Young Harris Memorial United Methodist Church. Survivors include her daughters, Norma Warwick Patterson (Don) and Susan Warwick Lanier (Chuck), Augusta; granddaughters, Elizabeth White (Jim), Charleston, S.C., Paige Patterson, McCaysville, Ga., Ashley Patterson, Augusta; grandson, Chase Lanier, Richmond, Va.; sister, Serena Cherry, Hull, Ga.; stepdaughter, Paula Barton (Greg), Martinez, Ga.; and stepson, Dick Hauschild, Fond du Lac, Wis. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Horace H. Warwick and second husband, Richard O. Hauschild; and her parents, Richard and Maude Martin. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at Young Harris Memorial United Methodist Church, 973 Prince Ave., Athens, Ga., with Reverends Wesley Stephens, Grady Wigley, and Alan Smith officiating. The family will receive visitors at a reception following the service.
