FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - Arkansas is headed to the Cotton Bowl.

The No. 25 Razorbacks accepted a bid Sunday to the bowl in Dallas. Arkansas (8-4) will find out its opponent from the Big 12 Conference after BCS bowls are announced Sunday night.

It's Arkansas' 11th appearance in the Cotton Bowl. The game is scheduled for Jan. 1.

The Razorbacks are coming off a triple-overtime win over then-top ranked LSU. After the upset, coach Houston Nutt resigned and accepted a job at Ole Miss. Defensive coordinator Reggie Herring will serve as interim coach in the bowl game.
