9 a.m.: Col. Jack Bryant, Fort Gordon's chief of staff, will speak at Lakeside Middle School in Augusta; at 10 a.m., Brig. Gen. Jeffrey Foley, the post's commanding general, will speak at the Augusta Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
9 a.m.: Jeff Snover, Orlando Perez and the Honorable Richard Eckstrom, South Carolina comptroller general, will speak in the South Aiken High School gym, 232 East Pine Log Road, Aiken. A reception will be held in the library afterward.
Noon: Lt. Col. Kristin Ellis, commander of the 442nd Signal Battalion, will speak at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Augusta, where two World War II veterans will be recognized; at 2 p.m., Anne Marie Rehab and Nursing Center in North Augusta will honor the residents of the facility who are veterans. The program will feature a vocalist, Sgt. Sean Slate of the 116th Military Intelligence Group, and a speaker, Capt. Eddie Byrd, the commander of Company C, 551st Signal Battalion.
8 a.m.: Fort Gordon Command Sgt. Maj. Thomas Clark will speak at Evans Middle School; at 9 a.m., Col. Bryant will address the residents of Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home. At 10 a.m., the Augusta Veterans Day parade on Broad Street will begin with Brig. Gen. Foley as the grand marshal. A battalion-size marching unit from the 15th Regimental Signal Brigade, a joint-service color guard and the Signal Corps Band will participate in the parade festivities; at 11 a.m., Brig. Gen. Foley will speak at the ceremonies at the Monument of All Wars at Fourth and Broad streets; at 1 p.m., the Signal Corps Band will play and the joint service color guard will post the colors at the Heroes Overlook on the Riverwalk; at 10:30 a.m., in North Augusta, Chief Warrant Officer Andrew Barr, Fort Gordon's Regimental Warrant Officer, will give a speech at the Wade Hampton Veterans Park.

10:30 a.m.: Barnwell School District 45 will remember former students of Barnwell and Butler high schools who were killed in action. Col. John Dewey, U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command, and the Signal Corps Band will participate in the event at Veterans Park on U.S. Highway 278 in Barnwell.
