Walking on 'Glass'

The Augusta State University Theatre will present The Glass Menagerie at 8 p.m. today through Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Grover C. Maxwell Performing Arts Theatre, 2500 Walton Way. Looking at 'Carol'

Inspecting Carol will be held Friday and Saturday and Nov. 16-17, 29-30 and Dec. 1 at the Fort Gordon Dinner Theatre, Third Avenue, Building 32100. Focus on family

Hot cooking show

A cooking demonstration will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at Fort Discovery, 1 Seventh St. The event will feature Angela McKellar, host of the cooking show KicK BacK and KooK! , who will demonstrate how to flambe. Veterans with military ID and military personnel will be admitted free in honor of Veterans Day weekend. Others are asked to bring at least two canned goods for Golden Harvest Food Bank. Organ recital

The Augusta Chapter of the American Guild of Organists will present Scott Montgomery in recital at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church of Augusta, 3500 Walton Way.
