Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, November 9, 2007, at Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, NJ with Leber Funeral Home of Union City, NJ in charge of arrangements Mr. Schaefer was a native of New York City, NY and was a retired butcher. He was a U. S. Army Veteran and was of the catholic faith. Survivors include one daughter, Patricia S. Carswell of North Augusta; one grandson, Grant Sutton.
