AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Calvin Cummings, Jr. of Cameron Drive entered into rest Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 9, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Beulah Grove Baptist Church with Dr. Rev. Kenneth Cummings, Sr. officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Olive Memorial Garden. He was a native of Richmond County, Ga.; a US Navy Veteran and employed by CSX Railroad for 33 years. Survivors are his wife, Sheridan Cummings; two sons, Dexter Cummings and Diallo (Dorothy) Cummings, Augusta; one daughter, Celeste Cummings, Augusta; mother, Rose Cummings, Augusta; three sisters, Sandra (Carroll) Harley, Janice Cummings, Sharon Scott, Augusta; two brothers, Dr. Rev. Kenneth (Anita) Cummings, Sr., Kentucky, Victor Cummings, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Jazzmine Carter, Diata Cummings, Cristiana Hall, Dahry Cummings, Da'Mya Cummings; a host of other relatives and friends.
