SARDIS, Ga. - Mrs. Naomi Elizabeth Hamilton Nail, 84, beloved wife of Mr. Daniel B. Nail, entered into rest Monday, November 5, 2007 at her residence. Mrs. Nail was born in Sardis to the late Florrie Oliver Hamilton and John L. Hamilton. She was employed as the Office Manager for William Byrd, Inc. in Columbia, SC before her retirement. Mrs. Nail was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 115 S. Liberty St., Waynesboro. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Sardis Baptist Church with Reverend Ken Nichols and Father Christian Alimaja officiating. Interment services will follow at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Nail will lie in state one hour prior to service time. Pallbearers are Zef Dalbec, John Hamilton, Jr., Billy Hamilton, Bill Chance, Stan Hillis, John Dixon, Dale Hamilton, and Jeff Oliver. Additional family members include two children, Joseph C. Dalbec and Elizabeth Dalbec both of Columbia, SC; two step children, Paul Nail (Marie) of Quitman, GA, and Danielle Campbell (James) of Charleston, SC; two brothers, John T. Hamilton (Marlene) and Herman Hamilton (Barbara) both of Sardis; a sister in law, Carolyn Hamilton of Sardis; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Nail was preceded in death by a brother; William Louis Hamilton. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 7, 2007 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Deloach Kennedy Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
