PLAINFIELD, N.J. - Jessie Mae Lanham, 62, died Saturday, November 3, 2007 in Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield. Born in Augusta, Ga., she lived in Plainfield since 1981. She was formerly employed as a nurse's assistant with JFK Hartwyck at Cedarbrook in Plainfield. Mrs. Lanham was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Earl Place in Plainfield. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Alberta Keisha Lanham in 2001. Surviving are three sons, James R., Carlos A. and Thomas F. Lanham, all of Plainfield; one daughter, Marsha D. Lanham of Plainfield; two grandchildren, Yvonnie and Ananda Lanham; two sisters, Miriam Porter of Augusta and Gertrude Ware of Martinez, Ga.; one brother, Robert L. Beard of Plainfield; her former husband, James T. Lanham of Augusta and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
