Hypocritical Dems love to complain
Letter to the Editor
Wednesday, November 07, 2007

Well, well, well. I see Richmond County Democratic Party Chairman Lowell Greenbaum and his band of merry men are at it again.

As usual, President Bush and the Republicans are the center of evil. Let one bill loaded with pork get vetoed by the president, and the liberals are screaming like spoiled kids demanding their candy. Never mind that not one such word was uttered when Bill Clinton was president and his veto pen was smoking.

Unless I'm mistaken, the compassionate Democrats, are the ones who now control Congress. They knew this bill containing the modified State Children's Health Insurance Program legislation would be vetoed, but they sent it anyway just so they could rail about the Republicans' supposed lack of care for the poor. When these "limousine liberals" such as Ted Kennedy, Jay Rockefeller and Harry Reid -- members of some of the richest families in the nation -- are able to convince me and America that they know our struggles and feel our pain, pigs will definitely be flying. Then Greenbaum and his cronies probably will blame that on Bush as well, claiming that the president is responsible for crowded airspace!

I feel sorry for Greenbaum when the president leaves office. He and his lot all will be forced to get a life! Boo hoo.

Charles Kimbrough, Sylvania
