AIKEN, S.C. - Mrs. Louise Mathews Milledge Price began writing her Book of Life on April 8, 1914 in Aiken, S.C. After a tad more than 93 Ú years, she heard her Father's call to rest from her labor on November 4, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 7, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the Friendship Baptist Church, Aiken, with the Rev. T.C. Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Lawn Memorial Gardens, Aiken. Survivors include two daughters, Cressie P. Tillman and Celia L. Price, both of Aiken, S.C.; two sons, James C. (Jeanette) Milledge, Sr. and Robert Price, both of Aiken, S.C.; one sister, Annie V. Pope, Aiken, S.C.; one brother, Frampton Mathews, Summerton, S.C.; one aunt, Conelius (Sally) Burt, Johnston, S.C.; 19 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren; additional daughters-in-law, Patricia A. Price, Aiken, Rosa C. Milledge, Greenwood, S.C., and Mary Ann Milledge, Aiken. Friends may call at the residence of the daughter, Celia L. Price, 335 Greenville St. NW, Aiken, S.C. or at Jackson-Brooks Funeral Home beginning 1 p.m. Tuesday. The remains will lie in state at the church Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service.
