AIKEN, S.C. - Funeral services for Mr. Wesley J. Billings will be private. According to his wishes, a caring cremation will take place with no calling hours or formal services. South Carolina Cremation & Burial Society is assisting the family. Wesley passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at Aiken Regional Medical Centers. He was a native of Jackson, Mich. He served in the Navy in WWII and worked as a mechanical engineer for fifty years. He was a member of the Masons. He is survived by his sisters, Betty (Gilbert) J. Griffin, Myrtle (Elwyn) E. Geiske; special nephews, David (Mary Sue) Prough, Michael Griffin; friend and companion, Ethel Gardner; friends, Kim Hewston and family, Julie, James, Jackson; and several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.
