FORT WASHINGTON, Md. - Ms. Amelia Nichols entered into rest Sunday, October 7, 2007. Funeral services will be conducted Monday, October 15, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. from Nazarene Baptist Church, 3975 Germantown Avenue, Philadelphia, PA with Reverend K. Marshall Williams Sr. officiating. Ms. Nichols was born in Washington, Georgia on September 9, 1919 to the late Ben and Della Nichols. She was the youngest of seven children. She was a very active member of Nazarene Baptist Church, where she served on many of the church ministries. Survivors are one sister, Beatrice Elam, Augusta, GA; three nieces, Thelma (Phillip) Watson, Doris Elam and Elsie Wingfield; one nephew, John Elam; a special great niece, Julia Brown; great nephew, Reginald Brown; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smart; and a host of great nieces, nephews, great great nieces, relatives and friends.
