MARTINEZ, Ga. - Mrs. Jeannette Alexander, 75, widow of Mr. Horace Alexander of Crooked Pine Drive, died Saturday, September 22, 2007 in the Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 26 in the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens with Rev. Steve Hartman officiating. Mrs. Alexander was a native of Villa Rica, Georgia but had lived in Martinez for many years. She was retired from Civil Service and she was a member of the Kiokee Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter, Jane (David) Wheelbarger, Springfield, Mo.; her son, W. Lyle (Janice) Usry, Lithonia; a sister, Dorothy Mitchell, Keisterstown, Md.; two granddaughters, Beverly and Maggie Barnes; and two great-grandsons, Ryan and Kyle Barnes; a stepdaughter, Denise Alexander, Atlanta; and a stepson, Clinton Alexander, Sardis, Miss.
