EVANS, Ga. - Mrs. Hilda Schubert Netzley went to her maker on September 20, 2007. She was the loving wife and faithful companion for over 60 years of Richard Netzley of Brandon Wilde in Evans, Ga., who misses her so very much. Mrs. Netzley was born in Saxony, Germany on May 23, 1924 and came to this country with her family when she was four years old. She grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a degree in Accounting. She worked as an Accountant before becoming an Elementary School Teacher. She taught school for a number of years in Guam, Columbia, S.C., and El Paso, Texas. She retired from teaching in 1985. She leaves her immediate family consisting of her husband and two sons, Geoffrey (Elaine) of North Augusta, S.C. and Dr. Richard Jr. (Ann) of Boynton Beach, Fla. Her grandchildren are Jennifer of Columbia, S.C. and Richard III, Ryan, and Alexander of Boynton Beach, Fla. Mrs. Netzley also leaves a sister, Mary Louise Claussen of Granite City, Ill.; and nieces and nephews who are Leslie Larkin of Virginia, David Claussen of Australia, James Claussen of Illinois, Kenneth Castor of Alabama, Elizabeth Regedanz and Carol Brooks of Indiana, and James Castor of Michigan. Mrs. Netzley will be interned in Laura, Ohio, her husband's hometown and their first home together. Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to any of the Brandon Wilde Endowments or to the Salvation Army. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at the Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, 284 North Miami Street, West Milton, Ohio.
