AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. A. R. "Buck" Powell, a lifelong resident of the area, died on Friday, September 14, 2007 following several months of declining health. He was 93 years old. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at The Poteet Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 3465 Peach Orchard Road, 706-798-8886. Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens near Burnettown, South Carolina.
