COLUMBIA, S.C. - The times for football games involving Clemson and South Carolina on Sept. 29 have been set.

Clemson said Monday its game at Georgia Tech will begin at 3:30 p.m. and be shown on ABC.

South Carolina announced its home contest against Mississippi State would start at 12:30 p.m. and be broadcast on Lincoln Financial Sports network.

This week, the 15th-ranked Tigers play at North Carolina State and the 12th-ranked Gamecocks travel to No. 2 LSU.

SOUTH CAROLINA: Starting safety Emanuel Cook is in court following his arrest last month on a gun charge.

He was told to return to Richland County court on Jan. 24 to decide if he will plead guilty or face a jury trial.

When Cook was arrested Aug. 24, he was suspended from school and the football team. But the university reinstated him before the season began.

KENTUCKY: The Southeastern Conference fined Kentucky $25,000 for violating league policy about keeping fans off the playing field following the Wildcats' 40-34 victory over Louisville on Saturday.

ACC HONORS: Boston College's Matt Ryan and North Carolina's T.J. Yates headlined the Atlantic Coast Conference's honors list for the second time in three weeks.

Ryan, a senior quarterback, was named the offensive back of the week, and Yates was named rookie of the week.

Virginia offensive tackle Eugene Monroe and Virginia Tech linebacker Vince Hall were named linemen of the week. Duke's Vincent Rey was named defensive back of the week.

SEC HONORS: Kentucky quarterback Andre' Woodson, Mississippi State defensive back Derek Pegues and Florida return man Brandon James were named the conference's players of the week.

Vanderbilt offensive tackle Chris Williams and Georgia defensive tackle Jeff Owens were named the linemen of the week. Alabama tailback Terry Grant was the freshman of the week for the third consecutive time.
