UPPER MARLBORO, Md. - Mrs. Eliza Jackson Adams, 96, formerly of Plank Road, North Augusta and wife of the late Robert Adams, Sr., entered into rest at her daughter's home in Maryland. Mrs. Adams, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Eliza "Bea" (Stanley) Sellers, Upper Marlboro, Md. and Dorothy A. (Willie) Thompson, Chester, Va.; two brothers, Henry (Eliza) Jackson, North Augusta and Woodrow Jackson, Washington, D.C.; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives, and friends. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church with the Rev. G.L. Brightharp officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. G. L.
