SPEAKING OF FOOTBALL: The annual Border Bash tailgate, in celebration of the University of South Carolina and University of Georgia football game Saturday in Athens, is scheduled from 4-11:30 p.m. at the Golf and Gardens on Reynolds Street. Advance tickets are $8 at Bi-Lo, Circle K, Hooters and Communigraphics. Admission is $10 at the gate.
