Aiken County deputies are looking for a man caught on video jumping over a convenience store counter and grabbing money from an open cash register.

According to a news release, the strong-arm robbery occurred shortly after 8 a.m. Sunday at Mani's Mart in the 200 block of Cary Drive in Beech Island, Lt. Michael Frank said.

A man wearing a tie-dyed T-shirt leaped onto the counter, snatched money from the cash register, then ran to a pickup truck and sped away toward Augusta.

The truck is described as having a 1980s body, toolbox and a South Carolina license plate beginning with "134" and ending with a "J".

Anyone with information is asked to contact Investigator J.D. Sanders at the Aiken County Sheriff's Office at (800) 922-9709. Individuals also should call Crimestoppers of the Midlands at (888) 559-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward of between $50 and $1,000.
