DEARING, Ga. - Mrs. Eva Loretta Overton Turner entered into rest Sunday, August 12, 2007 in Doctors Hospital, the wife of Mr. Charles W. Turner. Other family members are one son, Johnny Dempsey; six daughters, Mary Frances Pylard, Linda Gail Myers, Sandra Jean Myers, Phyllis Ann Johnson, Frankie Marie Griffin, Susie Carvett Bassett; three brothers, Clarence Overton, Frank Overton, Bo Overton; one sister, Zennie Mae Olliff; 22 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by one son, James Robert Dempsey and two brothers, Robert Overton and Johnny Mack Overton. Mrs. Turner was born in Augusta, a homemaker, and a member of Flowing Wells Congregational Holiness Church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Revs. Sandra Myers and Clarence Overton officiating. Mrs. Turner will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery chapel. Pallbearers will be Joey Overton, Donald Ray Overton, Johnny Roy Overton, Larry Overton, Bud Overton, and Kenneth Anderson, Jr. The family will receive friends this Tuesday evening 7-9 p.m. at the Thomas L.
