MEETINGS: There are no regular meetings; just sign up and volunteer. Volunteers are expected to work a minimum of six hours a week. New volunteers are required to attend a general orientation session and Gallery Store-specific training session.

MEMBERS: Membership fees for the Aiken Center for the Arts vary from $25 to $350. Volunteers are not required to be members.

MISSION: To foster partner-ships for the growth of an arts community and to provide arts education, cultural activities and art opportunities that enrich the quality of life in Aiken.

"It's a good opportunity to meet a wide variety of people," said manager Karen Betow.
