Florida's Jeffrey Pitts is tagged out on a squeeze play by South Carolina catcher Brett Duckett during the championship game of the Dixie Boys World Series at Citizens Park in Aiken on Thursday night. The South Carolina team, made up of All-Stars from Union, won the game 7-2 to finish the tournament unbeaten. John Armstrong went 2-for-4 with two RBI for South Carolina. Duckett was also 2-for-4 in support of winning pitcher Keiston Stevens, who went all seven innings. Pitts finished 2-for-3 with an RBI for Florida, made up of All-Stars from Southport.
