AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Martha Anne Neely, 52, entered into rest on Friday July 27, 2007 at Select Specialty Hospital. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday July 30, 2007 at Platt's Crawford Avenue Chapel with the Rev. Boyd Lien officiating. Ms. Neely worked for Proctor and Gamble as an Inventory Controller in the Logistics Department. She was also a student at Augusta State University where she was majoring in history. In 2005 Ms. Neely was awarded the Outstanding History Student Award at Augusta State University. She will be remembered as a person who loved her family and also her pets. Survivors include her parents, Elbert and Bette Neely of Augusta, her brother, Steve Neely and wife Diane of Augusta, a sister, Claudia Schmidt of Kailua, Hawaii, two nieces, Amy Burtt of Seattle, Washington and Kim Neely of Boulder Colorado, and two nephews, Nathan Schmidt of New York City and Daniel Schmidt of Las Vegas. Following the services family and friends are invited to the home of Steve and Diane Neely for a celebration of Martha's life.
