AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on Friday, July 27, 2007 at her residence, Mrs. Anna Skinner Salley, 89, wife of the late John Anthony Salley. Mrs. Salley was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She was the daughter of the late George T. Skinner and Clarena Leigh Skinner. She was a retired bookkeeper with over 25 years of service to Gary Concrete Products. Mrs. Salley was a member of Curtis Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, George T. "Tom" Salley and his wife Kathleen of Martinez, GA and Robert Anthony Salley and his wife Brenda of Irmo, SC; daughters, Clara S. McAlhany and her husband Daniel, Jr. of Evans, GA and Mary Salley Hensley of LaGrange, GA; grandchildren, Stephen Salley, Tara Hasty, April Hill, Matt Wagaman, Trip McAlhany, Dana Hutcherson, Melissa Winn, Robyn Salley, Laura Salley and Christopher Hensley. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren. The family wishes to thank Annie, Brenda, Frances, Ora and Ella for taking loving and gentle care of Mema in her last years Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 31, 2007, 11:00 AM, at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Sherrill Dunn officiating. If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to Curtis Baptist Church TV Ministry, 1326 Broad St. Augusta, GA 30901 or to the First Baptist Church of Augusta TV Ministry, 3500 Walton Way Augusta, GA 30909.
