TEEN TALENT SHOW: The annual teen talent show kicks off at 6 p.m. at Fort Gordon Dinner Theatre, Building 32100 on Chamberlain Avenue. Those 16 and older need photo ID to get on the Army post. Drivers must have proof of vehicle insurance and registration.


MYSTERY NIGHT: The Teen Vacation Reading Finale will have mystery night from 6 to 8:30 at the main library, 902 Greene St. The story: Trent Tanner, the lead in his high school play, was found dead at center stage after the final performance. Uncover what happened in A Murderous Melodrama. Refreshments will be served. Grades 6-12 only. Registration required, limit 20. Call (706) 821-2600.


IN THEATERS: The Simpsons Movie hits the big screen with Homer out to save Springfield from himself. Also out is Who's Your Caddy?, the locally filmed movie about a rapper (Big Boi) who tries to gain membership into an exclusive country club, and No Reservations, a romantic comedy about a chef and her assistant who fall in love.
