GROVETOWN, Ga. - Mr. Roy Myron Devon Baker, 43, entered into rest on June 27, 2007 at his residence. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2007 at 3:00 p.m. at Platt's Belair Road Chapel. A private family viewing will be held at 2:00 p.m. Survivors include his life partner, Bobbie Bauserman of Grovetown, Ga.; father and mother, SGM. Gerald Baker, Sr., U.S. Army Ret. and Myrna Baker of Augusta, Ga.; two brothers, Lt. Col. Gerald Baker, Jr., U.S. Army Ret., wife, Kim and four children, Jonathon, Joshua, Danielle and David all of Pittsboro, N.C. and Curtis Baker, wife, Jessica and four children, Shayne, U.S.A.F., the late Devon, Charles and Jermiah all of Clovis, N.M..; two sisters, Mary Francis Weaver, husband, Jeff and son, Allan of Brick, N.J. and April Bond, daughter, Cherie' of Martinez, Ga. Roy was a hairdresser for Salon Glitz for 21 years and Owner and Operator of Elite Presentation Catering. Roy loved animals, flowers, and never met a stranger. He loved Hilton Head, S.C. and the Beach. Roy attended First Baptist Church of Augusta.
