AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Barbara Denton Youngblood, 81, wife of Mr. William A. Youngblood, entered into rest Thursday, June 21, 2007 at University Hospital. Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 12:00 P.M. in Hillcrest Memorial Park. Mrs. Youngblood, a native of Avery, GA, was the daughter of the late Aaron David and Carrie Irene Rabun Denton. She had retired from Bellsouth as a secretary. She loved gardening and was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors in addition to her husband include her son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Jackie Youngblood of Evans; sister and brother-in-law, Betty Zimmerman and Tom Whisnant of Augusta; grandchildren and their spouses, April and Brian Grealish and Heather and Jay Wilkins; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
