BEECH ISLAND, S.C. - Memorial services for Mr. Robert Kummerlen, 48, of Boykin Drive, Beech Island, S.C., who entered into rest May 30, 2007, will be conducted Thursday at 2 o'clock from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Mr. Kummerlen was a native of Cleveland, Ohio, a former resident of Ft. Pierce, Florida for seventeen years, having made Beech Island his recent home. He was employed by Ryder Truck Corporation and had been active in the 4H Program in Ft. Pierce. Survivors include his wife, Linda Duda Kummerlen; two daughters, Shawna Fritz, Beech Island and Crystal Kummerlen, Ft. Pierce, Fla.; father, Donald R. Kummerlen, Ft. Pierce, Fla.; mother, Patricia A. Kummerlen, Parma, Ohio; a brother, James J. Kummerlen, Bedford, Ohio; three sisters, Nancy Utterback, Cleveland, Ohio, Patricia Beischlag, Parma, Ohio, and Ruth Kummerlen, Waller, Texas; one grandchild, Rayna Perkins.The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service.
