JACKSON, S.C. - Funeral services for Mrs. Irene Buff Good, 79, of Atomic Road, Jackson, S.C., who entered into rest June 4, 2007, will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Dr. Robert F. Fuller, Jr. officiating. Interment in Jackson Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Good was a native of High Peak, North Carolina, having made Jackson her home for the past 56 years. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the owner of Jackson Beauty Center for 40 years. Mrs. Good's greatest commitments were to the Lord and to her family. Survivors include her husband, Bill Good; a son, Terry R. Good (Melba), North Augusta; a daughter, Debbie Good Willcox (Joe), North Augusta; a brother, William S. Buff, Jr. (Joan), High Peak, N.C.; two sisters, Darese Robinson (Rev. McCoy), High Peak, N.C. and Gaynell McNeely (Gerald), Spartanburg, S.C.; five grandchildren, Buff Dill, Rebecca Peace, Michael Good, Amanda Willcox, and Laura Willcox; six great-grandchildren, Cooper Atkins, Olivia Dill, Caroline Peace, Anna Peace, Will Good, and Ally Good. Pallbearers will be Roger Floyd, Rob Crumley, Kurt McClure, Buster Beard, Mike Eller, and Ronnie Rountree. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Wednesday evening from 6 to 8.
