AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Wilkes Health Care Center, Washington, Georgia, Mr. Thomas Jefferson 'Bud' Murray, Jr., 76, formerly of Miller Street. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. from Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Johnny L. Hatney officiating. Interment will be in Old Storm Branch Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Murray was a native of Lincolnton, Georgia and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church, where he served on the Usher's Ministry until his health failed. Survivors are a loving and devoted wife, Juanita Murray; two daughters, Kay (Jimmy) Beard, Lincolnton and Brenda (Harry) Gardner, Augusta; six step daughters, Barbara (Earl) Hazel, Fannie (Arthur) Jones, Octavia (Tom) Collins, Mary (Johnny) Michealphine and Edith (Bonnie) Harris, Hephzibah, Falinda (Veonzell) Woods, Atlanta; two sons, Robert Murray, Atlanta and William (deceased) and Faye Murray; eight step sons, Carl Hunter and Michael Holloway, Augusta, John Holloway, Frank (Annette) Pollard, Jr. and Mark Pollard, Hephzibah, Albert (Elouise) Holloway, Aiken, SC, Charles Pollard, Huntsville, AL, Willie Leak, Atlanta, GA; one sister, Elease (Otis) Hawes, Augusta; one sister-in-law, Susan Sims, Washington, GA; and a host of grandchildren, step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
