HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mr. Raymond Larry Woods, 61, husband of Mrs. Marie Woods of Hephzibah- McBean Rd., entered into rest Saturday, June 2, 2007 at the residence. Memorial services will be held Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 6:00 p.m. from Miracle Baptist Church with Reverends Darien Spivey and John Raborn officiating. Mr. Woods was a native of Pennsylvania and had made the Hephzibah area his home for 30 years. He was the son of the late Raymond and Juanita Cumberledge Woods and was a foreman with Bolivia Lumber Co. Mr. Woods was a member of Miracle Baptist Church and had served in the United States Army. Mr. Woods was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Angel Woods and his grandmother, Emma Woods. Additional survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Kelly Woods of Hephzibah; his daughters and son-in-law, Sherry and Randy Saxon of Wilksboro, N.C. and Kandie Prickett of Hephzibah; seven grandchildren, Christina and Jonathon Davis, Todd Saxon, Randall Saxon, Shane Prickett, Casi Prickett, Bubba Woods, and Gracie Woods; two brothers, Richard Wood of Hephzibah and Kenneth Woods of Deep Valley, Pa. Memorial contributions may be made to the March of Dimes, 836 E. 65th St. Building 32, Savannah, Ga. 31405 or The American Cancer Society, 2623 Washington Rd. F-104, Augusta, Ga. 30904.
