HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Mrs. Lucy Sherrod entered into rest on Thursday, May 31, 2007, at Heartland Hospice. She leaves to cherish her memories; husband, Joseph Sherrod; daughters, Cynthia Ruffin, Lakiasha Parker; granddaughter, Vanessa Ruffin; mother, Irene Green; brothers, Bobby L. Green, Sr., Eddie Green, Willie Green, Tommy (Ethel Mae) Green; sisters, Doris D. Green, Gloria Green; brother-in-law, Joe Lee Green; sisters-in-law; Eleana McCollough, Ollie McDonald, Johnnie Mae (Earl) Harris, Gaynell Green and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Thursday, June 7, 2007, at Kinsey & Walton Chapel. Words of comfort will be given by Pastor Yvette Davis. Interment will be in Franklin Covenant Church Cemetery.
