COLUMBIA, S.C. - Memorial service for William "Buddy" Wilhelm, 72, will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel, Irmo. Memorials may be made to Palmetto Health Hospice, P.O. Box 7275, Columbia, S.C. 29202 or to Oliver Gospel Mission, P.O. Box 7791, Columbia, S.C. 29202. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Mr. Wilhelm died Sunday, May 27, 2007. Born in Augusta, Ga., he was a son of the late William Edward and Margaret Johnson Wilhelm. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he retired from Stivers Lincoln-Mercury as sales manager. Surviving are his wife, Faye W. Wilhelm; brother and sister-in-law, William J. and Gail Wilhelm of Grovetown, Ga.; brother-in-law, Angus C. Ott and his wife, Vera, of Plainview, Texas; sisters, Betty Baynham and Glenda Cooper, both of Belvedere; and nieces and nephews.
